Everything on a roll. I take a bit of all of our leftovers, and put it on (or, more accurately, in) a leftover roll.![]()
I saw one today where it suggested to put turkey and sweet potatoes in a hash in some puff pastry for a "Leftover Turnover." Myself I like cleaning up on some of the leftovers by combining dressing, spuds, turkey pieces topped with gravey for a hash. I did use my "Magic Bullet to combine a banana, cranberry sauce and orange juice with crushed ice for a smoothie.
Was thinking, when seeing this, about a turkey/cranberry sandwich. Yum!

If I make cranberry jello salad and I am always happy when there is some left over. I have made it twice this year already, but not on Thanksgiving. I made it a week ago for a potluck at church. I enjoyed the leftovers. I made some yesterday to take to an after Thanksgiving gathering and meal today.I think there will be some left because I think some of them will be picky eaters. We went to Cindi's for Thanksgiving and none of them like cranberries so I didn't take any there. They are really "missing" it.

put the remaining bones in a large stock pot - add enough water to cover. Add Simon and Garfunkel spice (parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme), onions, drippings from the roasting pan; boil then simmer for a while (maybe a couple of hours)
preserve the liquid as stock by straining. Take 2 cups of it, add turkey and vegetable leftovers, add additional vegetables, salt and pepper to taste; boil then simmer. Separately boil some noodles. Add cooked noodles to pot or to individual bowls.

I tried vanilla ice cream and cranberry sauce run through my "Magic Bullet' for a very tasty smoothie.
