flavored marshmallows
This holiday season, more than any other year before, I noticed an influx of flavored marshmallows. I had seen regular white ones (what exactly is that flavor?), chocolate and "fruity" multi-colored ones consistently for years. A few years ago, I noticed pink, heart-shaped strawberry marshmallows around Valentine's Day. This year though, here are some of the flavors I've seen at our grocery store:
mint chocolate
peppermint
cinnamon bun
German chocolate (covered in actual coconut!)
Pina Colada (pineapple flavored, covered in coconut)
chocolate truffle
Have any of you noticed this many flavors as well? What would you do with them?
I personally like Mexican Hot Chocolate, so I purchased the cinnamon bun marshmallows thinking that if I added them to a normal cup of chocolate cocoa, it would taste better. They're a bit weird though and not really my favorite. Now I'm not sure what to do with the rest of the bag...
