    Foot washing service liturgy?

Does anyone have a liturgy for a foot washing service? I'm contemplating doing that as part of a Maundy Thursday service. It is either that or a Seder, and I'm not sure that I, or the congregration are ready for a Seder.

    I appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks

    Roy

Have you considered doing a Tenebrae service?

To know and to serve God, of course, is why we're here, a clear truth, that, like the nose on your face, is near at hand and easily discernible but can make you dizzy if you try to focus on it hard. But a little faith will see you through.

If you happen to know a Seventh Day Adventist pastor you might inquire as to what they use - footwashing is practiced in some SDA churches prior to communion.

No doubt! Just something I've had on my mind, since that is what we are doing this year.

Roy, I went to one foot washing service at a Christian Baptist church years ago and they had commuion first and afterward the men and seperated and wash each feet. We had one Nazarene church on our disrict practice foot wash and I wouldn't be surprise that some of the Christians Baptist pastors who became nazarene pastor who still may practice foot wash.
    Thanks
    Larry
