Copy/Paste - transfer - large files via wireless

I now have two computers - both wireless - Windows 7 - and it's a real chore to transfer large files, either via DVD or hard wiring...via hard wire I copy onto Maxtor hard drive then disconnect/reconnect to other computer and paste there.

Is it "safe" and possible/practical to set up and send large (30 GB) files via wireless from one computer to another?

    Thanx

Nelson, can't you share one of the PC's disk with the other PC?

Since they are windows 7 machines you can use "homegroup" to share files.

    Crossover cable may work

I want to avoid burning CDs/DVDs simply to copy file from one computer to another, IF I can

Set up your home network so that both computers have the same network name. Win 7 will help with that. Share the drive on both computers and you can simply drag and drop from one folder to the other. It is as if the other computer's hard drive is on your computer. Just make sure your wireless is password protected and you should be safe.
