Norman O Miller last week...
To me personally the most memorable aspect of B Edgar Johnson was his ordering of what has come to be known as the Nazarene logo, for his own stationary (he asked someone at pub house to create a logo with the elements he specified...) and when the generals saw it they liked it and adopted it for their own stationary, and now... the design is all over the world. Still not an official logo but it is certainly synonymous with our denomination.
Another connection I had was I pastored the church he went to the general secretary job from... Upland, CA.

Norman O Miller died last week as well? I didn't recall seeing his name like I am seeing Edgar Johnson's. I recognize Norman O Miller's name because back when I was teaching I would send my NCM child sponsorship check to HQ in care of his name. while serving as a men's wardrobe consultant at the local JCP I had the privilege of fitting Dr. Johnson with a few suits and sportcoats. He was always pleasant to serve.

I had the privilege of working closely with Dr. Johnson on a number of committees and projects. He had sharp mine and a keen sense of humor. I respected him highly.
