    The Exodus Conspiracy (Unreleased Documentary)

This documentary as far as I can tell has yet to be released. Its been over a decade in the making. Has anyone else heard more about this film's release or making?

And does it matter that evidence for the Hebrew exodus from Egypt is mounting they took a different route than is commonly accepted?; or that Mt. Sinai as we know it is most likely not Mt. Sinai at all (as the film and others from the Real Mt. Sinai project assert) ? I tend to think it really really does matter and am looking forward to it if and ever this project gets released. The earlier documentaries I had seen on the subject left too many holes and were filled with too much conjecture and speculation in my mind that its makers were just filling in the blanks of their already pre assumed position to validated biblical accuracy. I am glad this group through its work on the subject is shifting away from the "conspiracy" angle which I think would just cloud the issues more. Anyway from their website..the cast looks truly fascinating.

    Not to me.

    My understanding
The accounting was that God parked Israel in Egypt for 400 + years until the sins of the people that lived in the land God was moving Israel into reached full measure. The land around Sodom and Gomorrah was, at that time, a waste land unlike when Lot chose that area to live in. So Egypt was a good parking spot. The Exodus route was out of Egypt

While I do find such films entertaining or interesting my faith is based on the written testimony and I don't think we can state with any certainty which mountain and give a detailed route. Many have tried. None are old enough to state, "this is what I saw".

This isn't necessarily new. Bob Cornuke had videos of Jabal al Lawz in Saudi Arabia and was claiming it matched biblical clues about Sinai.

There's lots of interesting archaeological findings that help us understand middle eastern history.

No its not new.. It was the Bob Cornuke video that raised a lot of questions in my mind years back. That account just didn't fill in major gaps for me. This new work is taking those notes and of others before him and is apparently doing a lot more exhaustive research. from the Blog the it appears they have take the project off the "conspiracy" track. While it would be nice if they did find irrefutable evidence of where Moses received the 10 commandments, I like Randy above, it wouldn't make one whit of difference in my faith. But I do find it incredibly intriguing in a Raiders of the the Lost Ark meets 60 Minutes kind of way.

This Paper refutes the Jabel al lawz / Sinai Theory. : http://www.biblearchaeology.org/post...di-Arabia.aspx . Looking forward to the Documentary's answers and more.
