We went on a picnic on Sunday afternoon. The park we visited is basically a memorial to a 14-year-old girl who died in a car accident a few years ago. She loved butterflies, and there is a memorial in the park that is dedicated to butterflies, the center of which has a huge copper butterfly on a tall pole. I thought it would be neat to take a picture, remove the pole, and have it look like it's flying!! So, here's the picture --

Thanks, Ben -- I took several of those pictures with the express purpose of playing with my editing software!!! I could picture in my head how I wanted it to come out! However, I worked hard to get that sun spark in the picture -- that part is for real!!! I'm glad that my husband didn't have a camera pointed to me when I was in odd half-squatting positions trying to get the sun to spark through the butterfly wings!!! ha ha
