Our church page on Facebook
I don't remember how long it's been since I set up a Facebook page for our church, but it's been awhile. We also have a Facebook group and it gets more action than the page does.
When I set it up, I just named it "Church of the Nazarene" and then in the description I put the location.
Seemed logical and reasonable to me at the time.
A couple of weeks ago I started seeing posts from lots of people on the page about goings on at their churches. Finally, it dawned on me that they think they are posting on the general church Facebook page.
I've just asked that the page be renamed. All the nice folks visiting our local church Facebook page is fun, but I hate for them to think they're on the denomination page when, instead, they're just posting to our page.
