I wish that I had that view from my backyard! I'm not too sure I'd venture far away...
My backyard is a garden with a view of a garage that belongs to the house thru the block from me...

We can see these from the parking lot of our church. Good stuff. Greet people at the door and look at the mountains.

Gig Harbor made #5 in the current issue of Smithsonian Magazine of the top 10 best small towns in America. With a view like that to the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, it is no wonder.
True. I often post pictures of the mountain views (east and west), but I don't often post the southerly view. This is our view to the south.
The body of water is Puget Sound. The land is Fox Island.

When we had the privilege of visiting you and Linda in 2009 I remember sitting on your deck and enjoying that view. We couldn't see the mountains, but the water was beautiful and relaxing. Thanks for posting...it brings a good memory to mind.
