    Cable, phone, internet service providers

We use Cox Communications at home and they are yet again raising their prices.

We'd like to change and are thinking of ATT for phone, cable and internet.

I don't know if I know anyone who has AT&T.

Does anyone use AT&T for the internet or cable?

If so, do you find it works as well as other internet service providers?

We already have AT&T for our phone and it seems fine.

    Thanks for any input.

    Wanda,

We have AT & T U-Verse for internet, telephone, and television. The prices keep going up, but the service has been fine (once they finally figured out what the problem was with the television after the initial set-up). Some of the pricing depends on "bundling" packages available, what specific services you want (i.e., what package of television channels you want, what speed of internet you want, what package of phone services you want).

I have AT&T for cell phone and DSL (U-Verse isn't available at our address) and have no problems. The DSL speed is comparable to the slower broadband speeds and am told that U-Verse keeps up with broadband. All in all I'm happy with them.

Hi, I will tell you we had ATT DSL and it was anything but good. After a year or two we switched to Cox. It is far superior in reliability and speed. We switched our phone to Cox also for a bundle deal. (Never had any problem with ATT phone.) Remember this is just one guy's opinion.

We also have AT&T Uverse - switched from ComCast 2-4 years ago because they kept raising their monthly feeds. Now AT&T is doing the same.

It's a constant battle...no matter which service you choose, I'm thinking.

For what it's worth, our monthly fee is approx $150.

    Good luck.

We started to get AT&T U-Verse until I found out they do not use cable to your house. U-Verse, therefore, is slower than Cox cable. We stayed with Cox & have cut down on channels in order to keep costs down.
