    Logos Proclaim Software

Was wondering if any one has experience with Logos Proclaim church presentation software? Just started playing with it last night, you can download the software and the iPhone app for free, but you must purchase a license to run the presentation as such. So far it looks promising, but would like to get others' thoughts about it. www.proclaimonline.com

Haven't heard of it or tried it. It does look pricey though as they charge a monthly or yearly fee. I've always felt more comfortable with software that I buy without monthly fees.

This is what we use at our church, they have a free unlimited time demo download as well.

To know and to serve God, of course, is why we're here, a clear truth, that, like the nose on your face, is near at hand and easily discernible but can make you dizzy if you try to focus on it hard. But a little faith will see you through.

Thanks Jim. The on going price is my general concern. But, I am curious if being able to run the presentation from the cloud might be worth it. The biggest plus so far from my a/v team and our worship leader is that no one has to physically come to the church to work on the presentation throughout the week. Right now, they come on Thurs day night to start to build it, and then early on Sun morning to finish the presentation. But with Proclaim, they can all login to the cloud from home, iPad, or iPhone and build the presentation throughout the week without having to be in our soundbooth. One of our a/v guys said he thought he would not have to sit in the soundbooth during service because he could run the presentation from his iPhone through the cloud back to the computer onto the screen. Sounds interesting, but I just don't know enough about it. Looking to see if any one here has played with it more. Right now the church is using PowerPoint, because that is what they have always used and no one really knew much about the technology. We have started getting some new people (a little more tech savvy) who want to know if we could move into a presentation software. I have used MediaShout, and Song Show Plus before. But, I have not heard of ProPresenter5. I will send it to our a/v team. Blessings!
