here in Boise over the next 5 days. Another chance for gold metalist, Kristen Armstrong to show her stuff here locally. She says she will retire after the Olympics. Prologue time trial tonight.

Later, she was on a pace to win this time trial crashed and broke her collar bone, in surgery.

My older son works with her husband and gave me her autographed picture last Christmas.

Shortly after the surgery today she was out at the site of the next road competition to cheer her team on and still has hopes of racing in the Olympics.
