Transit of Venus

Tomorrow evening Venus will pass across the face of the sun. This will not happen again until 2117.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Planetarium is hosting a special event. They will have a related educational program inside, telescopes set up for viewing outside along with the sale of brats and other refreshments outside.

They are also featuring two bands playing live music, one of which is my son's band, Dawn of Man. A couple of months back a guy contacted my son and said he had heard them at a show and wanted to book them for their Transit of Venus event.

I think I'll wait until then to watch it. I plan on having access to a much better planetarium then than I do now.
