You may be in threaded view. I've had it happen to me a couple of times.
On the bottom row of the toolbars click on "forum actions" then select "general settings".
You will get a new screen filled with countless ways to read naznet.
Scroll down a ways and you will see "Thread Display Mode." If the box says "threaded" change it to "linear oldest first" or "linear newest first" whichever is preferable.

On my screen there is a row of buttons on top of the first post of a thread that says display. I click that and then select linear mode to get back to my normal view. It happens often on my phone when I clear the history. Happened a couple times on my computer when I changed browsers and have reset them.
