    MissioLife

Anyone using the MissioLife curriculum from NPH? We will be using it starting in September.

what do you find attractive about it? In what kind of setting are you using it? I'm just curious.

We are not using it currently but used one of the modules a few months ago and loved it. We had children, youth, and adults all experiencing the same passage and teaching each week, something I really appreciated. Some of the revelations our youth had as we looked at the story of Genesis were amazing.

You can read about MissioLife here, for you or anyone else looking at it, and you can also check out the MissioLife blog, run by Chris Folmsbee, the creator of MissioLife.

Our church does not regularly meet other than Sunday mornings, so it has been hard to continue using MissioLife right now, but I highly recommend it. The philosophy and theology that it is created with is what we need as we seek to place our lives into the mission of God.

I think it's a great curriculum because its really affordable and it's also not very prescribed - you can add, subtract, change, and adapt as you need for your setting. It probably requires someone with a bit more confidence in bible and theology to manage well - but it's a strong resource.

I'm just a cog in the machine. I didn't have a hand in picking it. We will use it in community groups, youth and kids programming. We're also using it as a preaching resource.

We are doing the "Breathe" part in my Sunday School class. I really like it, as it teaches you to ask certain questions while you read through a passage in the Bible. I agree with Ryan S. when he says. "It probably requires someone with a bit more confidence in bible and theology to manage well." Our two leaders are very strong in this area, so that has been helpful.
