    Times have changed.

I took the first picture with my current camera on Feb. 12, 2012. Since then, I have taken 9,950 pictures. That comes to about 75 pictures a day. I remember when I took slides, a 36 picture roll might last several weeks. Times have changed.

When I changed to digital photography in 1999, I could take 12 pictures for each floppy disk. If I still used floppy disks, it would take 139 floppy disks to hold one picture. Times have changed.

I just told someone recently that if digital had not come along, I would not be having nearly this much fun with my camera.....

It was such a good feeling when I realized I was no longer saying, "I hate to waste a picture..."

Oh, yes. I can see this with a friend's new grandbaby. Thanks to digital, that baby has had more pics taken of her in 6 months than most of us have in our lifetimes.
