My church's office manager is from Liverpool - has lived here for years, but still has a marked English accent. As I was leaving the other day I wished her a 'happy 4th' and then added, "as much of one as a Brit can have." She laughed and said, "Love it! Besides it's a day off."

Little is said in History books about the fact that within a short time after the Declaration of Independence was signed there was also a document entitled Declaration of Dependence on God signed by most of the same group of founding fathers.
