My phone upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich today

Ice Cream Sandwich is the latest "flavor" of the Android operating system and my Razr Maxx was updated today. It looks pretty cool. There's a different look to many screens and some interesting new features.

The phone now features facial recognition. I can set it up so it unlocks by simply "looking" at my face and recognizing I'm it's master.

The camera will now take time lapse photos, and, even when it is recording video I can snap individual pics. Pretty cool.

The voice recognition capabilities have been upgraded to compete with the iPhone. I haven't used it enough to have an opinion on that.

Anyway, I'm now running the latest and the greatest.

By the way, I've only had the Razr Maxx for a couple of weeks. It's claim to fame is battery life - and it lives up to it's reputation. Amazing battery life. I've tried to run the battery down and can't do it, even after a day of heavy use it still shows well over half a battery.

That is amazing. It is the one point at which smartphones generally fail miserably.
