Does anyone know if there is a Wesley Conference scheduled for 2013 at NNU? Now that we live in Nampa, I'm hoping to attend!

The theme this year "is Leadership in God's Reign of Love."

A post on Facebook on August 30th said that registration would begin soon.

Northwest Nazarene University welcomes pastors, students, scholars, and laypersons to campus each year for its Wesley Center Conference. Participants come from across the United States and around the world. Conference topics vary from year to year, as participants engage in the important issues of heart and mind.

The 2013 conference focuses on Christian Leadership. The conference title, “Leadership in God’s Reign of Love,” describes the event’s goal to consider what leadership might best look like in the ongoing establishment of God’s kingdom.

Keynote speakers for the February 7-8, 2013 conference include Dallas Willard, Tom Nees, Ed Robinson, and Tammy Condon. Additional workshop presenters will offer insights into leadership in various domains of life. Thomas Jay Oord serves as conference director.

“Leadership in God’s Reign of Love” will be held in the atrium of College Church of the Nazarene, Nampa, Idaho. The church is adjacent to the campus of Northwest Nazarene University, which is located at 623 S. University Blvd in Nampa, ID.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Onsite registration begins at 11:00am on Thursday, Feb. 7. The conference concludes with an evening banquet on Friday, Feb. 8.

I was hoping to go this year, but again, it looks like again I won't be with a sabbatical next year.

Tom just put out the first media blitz an hour or so ago. I got a facebook hit, and email, and a post on the theology forum here. I'd say registration is ready to go.

If anyone wants to pay for my trip (and we figure out day care for my daughter), I'll be there. Otherwise this might be a webcasting year.
