    Printer problem

Seeing Dana's question about printers made me think I ought to try here as well. Tried my pastor , who is quite knowledgeable and an IT tech at TOPS but so ar no help . I have a Canon S520 . It has given me years of good servive with few problems . Lately I have been getting the warning that " the used ink tank is almost full" . I can get it to print by hitting " resume " but I am afraid that one of these days that won't work . Does anyone know what this used ink tank may be , where it is , how I can empty it or what I can do ? I have quite a bit of ink on hand that I would rather keep this printer .Besides, I will have to find someone to come and do any changes if that is the only route .
Thanks in advance if anyone can help .

Check this link out. It has the instructions you need. If you are not very mechanical or technical, you might want to call your pastor in on this one. The great thing is that it is free!

Let me know if it works!

A used ink tank is typically found on a laser printer. With that in mind if you have your manual or look it up online your will find the tank and empty it. If you have an inkjet then I can imagine the confusion because I can't imagine how an inkjet would have such a device.

The ink tank is usually below your toner tanks and the drum since it collects the ink that was not set into the paper.

Thanks Jonathan .Sent the link to my pastor after I checked it out and realized it was way beyond me . Haven't heard back from him yet . My other help maybe our leader at TOPS as he was talking about something like that Thursday but didn't think my printer had that . So looks like help will be on the way , soon ,I hope .
