We were almost in a Paramount Movie

Bob and I almost became actors in a movie Friday. We went to an estate sale. There was a very rude man there who cursed and said rude things to customers. He said he was the owner of the house and that his wife had just died. I left but Bob stayed and witnessed to the guy for about 10 minutes. Outside I was approached by two men telling me they were making a movie and we had been filmed by hidden camera. They wanted me to sign a release so they could use the footage. I refused. I thought it could be a scam. Finally Bob came out and they talked to him also but he refused to sign. They begged for about 30 minutes. They said they were from California and the movie was being produced by Paramount. The movie is to be about a bad man who later changes his ways. That is why they wanted Bob's conversation since he was telling the guy how to change his life. They even offered $150 to Bob but we were still leary. The old man was an actor made up to be old. He came out and talked to us also. Later we found out they were connected with "Jackass" TV and this will be a movie they put out in about 6-8 months. Do you think we should have been involved in such a thing?

I think you'll never miss the $150 or the notoriety.

No, I think you did the right thing. There is nothing redeeming about the "Jackass" series and the video would have been edited to portray you in a very negative light.

I agree with Daniel, I've seen several of the Jackass TV episodes and a portion of the first movie, you made the right choice.

If you are, then guess I must be, too.

I hadn't heard of it either. It is on MTV which I have never watched. This was going to be a movie, not on TV.

I really didn't know either. It sounded terrible. I found out what it is from other good Christian people who must have watched it. Ha. It is on MTV, which I have never watched.
