Guess where my daughter is this evening...

She lives with me here in Kenosha, WI...

A few days ago, she met up with a old MNU roommate in Seattle. Tonight they check off number 5 from their life goal of seeing the Packers play every other team in the NFL. Odd number years at Lambeau, even number years on the road. For this year's schedule, Seattle was the most appealing destination to them...

This shot is from a few minutes ago at Seattle's CenturyLink Field with my daughter (Chelsie) on the right.

My son in law is Packers fan. And so now my Daughter Heather is a Packers Fan. Concerning Boston fans, The Patriots are holding on the the officials, and with the Red Sox in last place in the AL east and 21 huge games out of first place, 47% of Red Son Fans feel like victims and 47% would not go to a game unless the Federal Gov't paid for the tickets.

Getting a lot of mileage ftom that 47%, eh John? (recalling another thread including this now-infamous percentage)

One of our board members had to leave the service early last night to watch the game. I can't wait until next Sunday to ask him if, just maybe, they lost because of his mixed up priorities!

Oh wait, I'm not going to be able to do that.

O well there's always Wednesday night!

My daughter got to witness live what will go down in history as one of the worst calls of all time...

NFL has come out with official statement that the call WAS WRONG and that the Packers should have won but that the rules don't allow for fixing the mistake. The Seahawks victory will stand...

Fortunately, for the NFL and for the true fans, the Packers aren't the kind of team for which this loss will determine their chances for a playoff spot!

By the way, would you believe that live in the stadium, the Seahawks didn't replay on the big screen their "game winning reception!" Go figure...

I think the official statement by the NFL was that an offensive pass interference call was missed, but that the replay officials were correct in not overruling the call on the field. Not that I agree with them, but that is their official statement.

One of the worst calls in the history of the game.

It has been acknowledged that the actual replay official had the power to decide who had first possession of the ball. I have to wonder if there was something there that we couldn't see with how that play went down. Either way the OPI should have been called and wasn't (isn't reviewable either). Sorry that your daughter had to witness my favorite team winning in such a bad fashion, but at least she will remember the game vividly.
