Just opening the DMS IV is pretty eye opening. There are many reasons that can cause these behaviors. And almost all the effects they describe could also be cause by their depression or mania due to their disorder. I know if I had not gotten on antidepressants in high school I would have committed suicide. The only thing that did stop me was Zoloft. So I am curious about how many lives they do save as well. And the thing with Prozac is that is was very revolutionary. It gave someone like me the chance to live a close to normal life with out having to to be institutionalize. Which if this was 30 years ago I would have been institutionalized. And I am actually on a bi-polar meds and can tell you when I am off the meds I have crazy aggression and anger due to mania phases.
I keep praying for you Steven and will add this issue to the prayer list.

Thank you. I am really much up to normal par for me now with my meds. The only thing I worry about at the moment is getting off one of the antidepressants which is suppose to help me sleep but since I have lowered the dose I still seem to be able to sleep as well as before I had to go off meds due to income. I do realize that I will probably never be what people call normal but I am ok with that normal gets over rated at times.

Yes, Steven. Just what is "normal," anyway?

I will let her know. She gets involved in learning something new about every 4 months or so so she doesn't get on as much anymore.

I also decided that since I cannot find anything else that makes my protein shakes enjoyable other than OJ and berries, I'd work around it.

I'm currently eating about 3500 calories a day so that comes out to about 100 carbs usually.

Yesterday I consumed 2700calories which consisted of 162g Fat --- 103g Carbs --- 215g Protein. That was missing a meal which is usually chicken breast and eggs and some spinach.

I've been doing it for almost two weeks now and I can attest that I feel more energy overall and less peaks and valleys in my energy, with less "crashes" after mid-day meals.
You eating 7 times a day yet?

isn't possible with my work. I've done a good job of eating 5. If I can find a way to do 6, I will, but 7 just simply doesn't work. I generally only have 9 hours in which to both eat and workout and run on top of that.

Yeah I had a job in Oklahoma city that allowed a morning and afternoon break and lunch during your 10 hours at work. I was up to 7 meals a day around January trying to add weight for a competition I was looking at getting into. I have found that most people have a hard time of even getting in 5 meals a day. Which is about my regular meal plan right now.

I have an active job that gives no break and where, due to my constant interaction with patrons, I am not allowed to eat.

Yeah I figured as much. To bad you can't sneak a protein bar in sometime.

Super high carbs. Most have at least 20g. The one's I like all seem to have 30.
