Find a few posts you can "thank" from someone you often disagree with,
it will make them feel appreciated and maybe help smooth out future exchanges you have with them.

Never presume you know what it means, if verbiage is unclear ...
We know what it means to "assume" ... so ask ... as we want to hold truth dear.
(could've been said differently/better, but w/o the rhyming element).![]()

Here's two:
If being contradicted, gives you a fit,
type your opinion, but don't click "submit."
Being Nazarene is not required;
fondness for them is certainly desired.
(Proverbs don't have to rhyme, 'tis true,
the two I just gave; they do.)

Self vindication on the internet is like scratching the middle of one's own back:
it takes considerable effort, doesn't accomplish much, and feels so much better when someone else does it.
Start every day randomly hitting the "thanks" button six times.
It really doesn't take that much effort, and somebody else will feel better for it.
The idea of "sabbath" was given especially for Naznet:
take a day "off" once a week.
A wise man knows to not comment on every thread.
Only the fool writes about everything.
The wisest posts have yet to be written - by someone else.
The greatest thoughts are hidden in the fewest words.

Just because you read something with a certain "tone" doesn't mean that is what the author was trying to convey. Offer more grace- it's something we all need.
