Edited to add I E-mailed Gord Evans and tried to get him to come back at least occasionally . After all he was the one who told me about NazNet in the first place .

Well thank you, Susan! I appreciate this welcome message. I checked and determined the last time I actually posted something here was in April. That's only six months ago ... I don't want to be a pest, dontchaknow! I do drop by and read posts from time to time. I just don't always have something to say, intelligent or otherwise.
I saw the discussion on "smart" vs. "dumb" phones. I enjoyed reading it pretty much in its entirety. But at the end, I still wasn't sure which I had, so I chose not to admit it in public. I enjoyed Jim Chabot's perspective, though.
