Thanks Pete, I haven't heard Vance Perry in a while, the guy is an incredible musician. I can't remember which song, on one of them he actually apologizes for sight reading it. I think it was it was either five or seven parts.
Check this one out, even though it is a secular song, his work is amazing!
And check out his version of "And Can It Be" it's great!

To know and to serve God, of course, is why we're here, a clear truth, that, like the nose on your face, is near at hand and easily discernible but can make you dizzy if you try to focus on it hard. But a little faith will see you through.

You know, I thought the same thing, and yet some people have told me that it's familiar to them. I must admit that I'm captivated by this melody line, it gives the song a completely different feel. I'm thinking that this melody would be perfect leading up to communion, while the traditional one is a bit too bombastic to lead to reflection.
Maybe John Kennedy can shed some light here?

My wife tells me that that "Glad" does it with this melody line;
I'm getting excited about the possibilities of using this leading to communion. Perhaps acapella from the balcony?
Still wondering if this is one of the old traditional tunes?
