    the lion screamed last night

The local mountain lion screamed right outside my open bedroom window last night.

With today wedding day for one of our children, I didn't need that in the middle of the night.

    Yeah, lots of adrenaline!

Wow! You live close to 'em!

(an obviously unnecessary exclamation,/duh! But will leave it here to be laughed at ... can't try for "deep" in every post, eh!

Yeah, we do live up close and personal with wildlife.

But on the up side, the bear wasn't around!

I was just about to say that I think your mountain lion trumps our bear.

I grew up in a small town in the midst of lots of rural. I only once saw a bear and rarely saw deer, never a fox. I moved to the suburbs in my township has more people in it than the entire county I grew up in. Deer are SO commonplace and a bear or two will be sighted within the neighorhood each spring. I have also seen a fox in my parking lot. At night, I wonder if those are coyotes I am hearing cuz coyotes have been seen across the river in another suburb. I don't get it.

"The Lion Screamed Last Night?" I think it's supposed to be, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
