And I say, "Sorry Giants, but I think you're about to get trounced!" (both in pitching and offense)
And I say, "It's only 3 1/2 months until Baltimore pitchers and catchers report to camp!"

Well, the Cardinals are my team, so I am still in denial mode that they lost the last three games. But should I ever move past that stage, I'll be cheering for Detroit.

I was sure that whichever American League team got there that they would take the World Series. But after the Giants comebacks in both the division and league races, I am no longer so sure.
You can be right or you can be in relationship
I think the Giants will win it in 7, going 1-3 at home, which means they'll have a losing record at home during the playoffs. First team to do that?

I pick the Giants in seven but I also thought the Cardinals would be in the series.
I've never cared less. 2006 was close. When the playoffs started this year my prayer was "Anyone but the Giants. Anyone but the Tigers. Anyone. Please. Anyone."
In my mind, baseball is over and there is no world series. I refuse to accept either as the champion.

Sandoval is "The Man." Tieing with the Babe, Reggie Jackson and Albert Pujols as the only others to hit 3 "taters" in one World Series game is not bad company.
Bumgarner is no bum. Great tag of Prince, Buster, caught him on the leg or heel before his other leg touched the plate. Good call by the ump. Fister did very well but his relief walked two to load the bases before the beautiful bunt trickled down the baseline that just refused to roll across the foulline. The ump was literally on top of that call.

Sad for the Tigers (hey, I grew up in Michigan).
Anyway, being down two right from the start, they mentioned tonight that most teams who are ahead like that have won ... 79% of them. So, the Tigers have a mere 21% chance of pulling off a come-back, according to those stats.

So sorry for you, Gina, that I would shed a tear if I weren't so dehydrated.
I really thought the Tigers would beat the Giants - boy was I wrong! However I'm a Hunter Pence fan and because of him I've been cheering for the Giants.
Now that Pence has his World Series ring, I can go back to not liking the Giants.
Well, it's over ... tho't we might at least get this game & not be totally swept away, no wins!
