    Computer program upgrade

I enjoy playing games at Pogo and have been a club member for about 7 years now . Now I am hetting a notice at Pogo that they won't be supporting Window's 7 much longer and suggest upgrading to Window's 8 . Not sure how to go about that especially as I have Window's XP but I did have trouble getting into some games before bed today. Finally succeeded but sure wouldn't want that all the time . I am assuming from the suggested site I went to that you have to buy the upgrade but how would that transition go and can I do it myself or do I need to ask for help yet again ?
Any suggestions would be gratefully received .

    That sounds like spam advertising.

    DO NOT click the link.

Just keep on trucking Marg - you don't have to change anything.

That note is on the Pogo web site itself and appears most times . So I don't think its spam. What it took me to was info about Windows and I saw a place you could "buy now " .

Well technically it is a false advertising scam, which I just lump into spam. Pogo sells real estate on their site to advertisers, and just becuase you see it on their site do not assume it is legit. Window 8 is Microsoft's latest operating system, most people do not have it, and will not for a while. Pogo does not really rely on the operating system, in functions in your browser.

The idea that you would need to upgrade your OS to play pogo games is totally bogus (that is how I know it is spam).
