    Cost Rica Information!

Yesterday the McMinnville, OR, News Register published the following article about our retirement in Costa Rica. It is a fun, easy, short read.

    http://www.newsregister.com/article?...107179--5072--

I will be in McMinnville this weekend to connect with the congregation and other community friends there.

Then we have a few days in Longview, WA, followed by 10 days in Montana and then wrapping up our States visit with 2 weeks with our son, Josh, and his family (Jamie & Alexandria) in Richmond, VA.

Then, back to Costa Rica on November 27th.

    Friend,

    Wes

That's a nice article Wes...thanks for sharing it.

Almost thou persuadest me to come to Costa Rica, but I'm be so lonely without my wife Jackie who has informed me that if I went, it would be by myself.

    That is funny, Scott.

In the olden days (early 70's) I made a 3 week trip to Papua New Guinea. On my way home, I stopped off in Hawaii and met with the field coordinator for that area. He heard my report and asked if I would be interested in serving on one of the South Pacific islands. (Can't remember which one.) I said exactly to him what you said, "Would you be interested in having me serve as a single pastor because it is for sure that Colleen would not accompany me!"

How about the both of you coming down for a visit! We would be delighted to have you (both) with us!

    Friend,

    Wes

Yes. We are looking forward to picking up our ballots in Longview, WA, next week and casting our votes for the Gov.

    Friend,

    Wes
