Highlight the text with your cursor, then click the appropriate button- it looks like a pitcure of the earth with a sideways figure 8 on the bottom right. Paste your link into the dialogue box, and click "ok"
And after you highlight the text, but before you insert your link, hit the underline icon (a large U with an underline...fourth from the right at top) and your link will be underlined. Makes it much easier for it to stand out as a link.
